Welcome to the e-portfolio of curtis j. fearrington
Hello, and welcome to my electronic portfolio. Here you will find information about me, my future life and career goals, and coursework from my years at Hampton University.
ABOUT ME: I am a 21 year old student-athlete from the small country town of Attica, New York, 20 miles outside of Buffalo. I began my collegiate journey in September 2009 at Hampton, and will be receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management in August 2013. Four year member of the NCAA Division 1 golf team and two year captain of the team, I have had the opportunity to associate with other young golfers around the nation, and have traveled all along the east coast to compete in tournaments.
I began playing golf at the tender age of 8, and began playing competitively at the age of 12. My early exposure to the competitive arena drove my love for the game. In my junior days I lived for golf tournaments; there was no bigger rush.
As I came of age, I learned I had to focus on other things to enable my growth in the real world. These past four years at Hampton University, I have served as a student; a student of the game of golf, and more importantly a student of life.
I have dedicated my life to the game of golf. It is a blessing to have nurtured a talent that has allowed me to receive a college scholarship, and one day create a career out of. Whether playing golf professionally, or serving as a professional in the golfing industry, golf will always be a part of who I am.
